Outback Almonds

Are you here to find out more about Glamping or to have a squiz at The Cottage?

We are a working almond farm on the banks of the Darling River in far west NSW. What began as a 3000 tree crop in 1998, planted by Sholto and Julie Douglas, and their children, has evolved to 9000, with a selection of natural, blanched, slivered, hot and spicy and chocolate coated almonds available to purchase via our online shop, as well as locally at Ruby's Cargo in Wentworth and the Mildura Visitor Information Centre.

Come and stay the night in one of our three Canvas Bell Tents by 'Glamping', or perhaps The Cottage is more your thing! If you're just passing by, or looking for something a little different, book for a Long Lunch or Dinner under the stars. Your hosts Tom & Tegan are happy to work with you to make your Outback Almonds experience personalised.

Farm tours are available, keeping in mind that harvest takes place from January to April, and the magical almond blossom occurs during August.

Dining in the Blossom, a fully catered event, is scheduled for the second weekend in August each year.
